I wanna listen to some music while out by the pool & in the picnic area, can I bring a speaker?

We know that everyone loves nothing more than to sit by or in the pool with a cold one, soaking up the sun & listening to their favorite tunes but unfortunately we do not allow speakers. If we allowed everyone to have a speaker, it would be like “dueling pianos” on a cruise ship. There are concerts weekly at Centennial Park located around the corner with a great line up and set list. 

We’re gonna chill in the picnic area & have some drinks. Can we set up a cornhole game or spikeball?

Enjoy the picnic area & definitely use it as a hang out, but please keep the yard games at home or on the beach. We cater to many families at any given time and if we allowed everyone to bring games, there would be no room for people to relax & enjoy. The park around the corner has ample amount of space to be able to play a great game of cornhole or the beach would even be a great backdrop.

Can I bring my bike & use that around the island?

While we love that you would like to experience the island on two wheels, there is to be no bike riding, skateboarding, rollerblading, or scooter riding anywhere on the Compass property. We are only one block away from a beautiful bike path that is provided by the city of Wildwood Crest with a spacious amount of area for all people on wheels to share the road. We kindly ask that you utilize that if you would like to spend some time on 2 or 4 wheels. 

I can’t find a sitter for Birdie, my Shih Tzu. She’s small and a super good girl, can she come on vacation with us?

Unfortunately, we have numerous families that stay with us that have extreme health conditions. We cannot allow pets (unless properly registered service animals meeting all ADA requirements with proper paperwork provided) due to the allergens they can cause. We take pride in our cleanliness and were just awarded a 2024 AAA Diamond for our cleaning standards. 

The kids wanna celebrate being on vacation. Can we use some sparklers or throw some ground poppers/snaps?

Every Friday night at 10pm, the City of Wildwood puts on a beautiful fireworks display. They are visible from our sun deck or by taking a short walk to the beach to see them unobstructed. If you’d like to set off sparklers or use the snappers, you are more than welcome to take them to the park around the corner or to the bike path and utilize that area to set them off. 

I have to do work while I’m there, do you have a strong enough wi-fi connection for me to do that?

Yes! We offer high speed internet in all rooms, the wi-fi password is provided at check-in. If for any reason there is an issue and you need a stronger connection, we are just a few short blocks away from the Wildwood Crest Library that offers high speed wireless, and individual work spaces available for use.

Do you provide towels, sheets & toiletries?

We offer towels in the room for showering & hand towels. We also provide kitchen towels in all of our efficiency rooms. Sheets are also provided & changed frequently. We do not offer towels for the beach or the pool, we ask that you bring them from home. There are areas provided for you to hang your towels to air dry. A  laundry room is also offered on our third floor that is for guest use.
